Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the Little Rock Polo Classic held?

The Little Rock Polo Classic is held at Windrush Polo Farm, at 24210 Burlingame Rd, off of Kanis in West Little Rock.  For Google Map directions, click here.

What happens at the event?

The sport of polo is both elegant and exciting--even those new to the sport will enjoy the event, and our program and announcer will help the novice understand the rules of the game.  While the match is the center of the event, there will be other festivities as well.  Contests include the Best Dressed Lady and the Best Dressed Gentleman.    Food and beverages will be available on site. The Champagne Divot Stomp is a traditional and fun activity mid-match.  After the match, celebrate with the players and guests. For a schedule of events, click here.

Where's my ticket?

Tickets may be purchased on this website.   EventBrite will provide a printable ticket for you to use at check in.   Garden Party tickets will be sold online, and will be available at the door while space lasts....

What does my ticket include?

  • For the 3rd Little Rock Polo Classic, we are changing our format.....  Garden Party tickets are the ONLY tickets sold.  Your ticket will include parking and shuttle services, access to our big tent, cooling misters, a barbecue meal (a polo tradition!), and one drink ticket.  Additional beer, wine and nonalcoholic beverages will be available.  Champagne will be provided by O'Looney's for the divot stomp.

  • Guests are always welcome to bring a chair or blanket to sit on, outside the tent.  Guests may also want to bring sunscreen and sunglasses.

Do I need to buy tickets in advance?

We recommend buying tickets in advance, as space is limited.  Our tickets often sell out quickly, so please plan ahead! Tickets can be purchased on this website in the "Purchase Tickets" tab (or click here.) If available, you may buy Garden Party tickets at the door with cash, credit card or check.

Where do I park?  Is there a cost to park?

Parking is included with your Sponsorship or Garden Party ticket.  Just pull in through the main gate, and volunteers will guide you to parking.  MidState Golf Cars has provided transportation after you park to the field and other areas.

What's a sponsorship? What sponsorship opportunities are available to me?

Sponsors are businesses and friends who make this event happen!  We have a variety of amazing sponsors who ensure that the event goes off without a hitch.  These sponsors are also invited to the Sponsor Party, to celebrate their contribution to the event's success.  Opportunities are available from $500 and up.  For more information on sponsorship levels, click here.

What if it rains?

Polo cannot be safely played in the rain.  If the weather is unsuitable for the players and their ponies, the match will be cancelled.  The sponsor party, however, is not weather contingent.  In the event of rain cancellation, we will still ensure your donation and/or ticket purchase gift is donated to Hearts & Hooves.

I didn't use my ticket.  Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for unused tickets.  All proceeds go to Hearts & Hooves, a 501(c)3 nonprofit.  Check with your tax preparer to see if any of your ticket can be written off as a tax deduction.

Are kids allowed?

Kids 12 and under are free and welcome.  Polo is a very family friendly activity, but please take note that there are no kid-specific activities available.

Can I bring my dog?

Sorry... we love dogs, but they are not allowed at this event.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Yes! You are welcome to bring your own food and drink.  Guests will have access to a barbecue meal, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options.

Should I bring a chair?

Guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets to sit on outside the tent..... Chairs are provided inside the tent.

What should I wear?

Generally, people dress up a little for polo.  Sundresses and linen suits are common (and remember: there is a Best Dressed Lady and a Best Dressed Gentleman competition!), but many people choose to come in simpler dress as well.  Dress for the weather.  Flat or wedge shoes are best for walking on the grass.   For more information on how people dress for polo, click here.
